Striking 1962 Aloha Model 15 "Glamper" – Restored & On/Off-Grid Ready
The Story:
Step back in time without leaving modern comfort behind. This 1962 Aloha has been methodically remade from the ground up, blending iconic mid-century style with high-end "glamping" upgrades. Whether you’re parked at a vintage rally or tucked away in the woods, this trailer is a showstopper that radiates pride of ownership.
The Transformation:
Nearly every inch of this trailer has been reimagined and improved:
Foundation: Brand new straight axle and trailer rated tires for worry-free towing and safety. New jack.
Structure: The ceiling and its support studs were replaced for structural security. Support jacks and a door step were installed for stability and convenience. Fully insulated from top to bottom—stay cool in the summer and cozy in the fall.
Exterior: The original vintage skin and original jalousie windows have been preserved to keep that authentic '60s soul, finished with a fresh automotive-rated paint job.
Interior: A complete "down to the studs" refresh featuring a custom-built front dinette table and seats, counter top, hardware, and flooring, to a versatile custom rear bed/couch lounge and storage throughout.
Systems: Equipped with a brand-new, robust 12-volt electrical system. This rig is designed for true glamping, giving you more power options than we can list for on/off-grid luxury. Remote controlled electric fan with moisture censor, discrete 12-volt TV, 16 lights that are custom with dimmer controlled switches, while still maintaining the upgraded ice-box for true vintage use and style. The dilapidated water system was replaced with a thermostatic heater.

Condition: Turn key but you can see that we loved to take “Beth” out for adventures so there are some small rock chips on the lower front. Discrete strap supports were added to support stability for the walls and to prevent any movement from rough terrain. Works great. She’s not perfect but it’s hard to notice, we are frequently approached for compliments and tours.
The heart of the matter: At the time we needed a project and we put everything into her (1.5 yrs). But when we finished, we realized we didn’t really have time to enjoy her like we planned. And too much sweat and tears went into her just to be locked up in storage. We are excited for someone to give her a home and show her off like she deserves.
